Aang Cosplay

My first ever cosplay!
Since I shaved my head at the beginning of the summer I definitely knew I wanted to be Aang from "Avatar: The Last Airbender" at some point, but by the time a convention (Go!Daiko-Con in Troy, MI) happened to roll on over, my hair had started to grow back.
This ended up being the perfect opportunity to make the easiest costume ever: Aang's look from the first episode of season three when he has nothing but pants and bandages on.

Everything was handmade (I've officially sewn my first pair of pants! Woo!) and I got my sister and friend to help me paint on the arrows with face paint. It smudged all over everything I touched if I wasn't careful, but I think it was worth it. And I swear I only wore those ridiculous flats when we took a trip to a public restaurant ;D

I got Appa at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. Woo!
